Russian troops are building a new base for launching "Shahed"-type attack drones less than 200 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
This was reported on Telegram by the "Atesh" resistance movement.
According to the group, the Russian Armed Forces are continuing construction of a launch site for “Shaheds” in the Oryol region.
“The Russian Armed Forces are continuing construction of a launch site for ‘Shaheds’ in the Oryol region. Agents continue to monitor the facility in the city of Oryol, which the enemy is likely using to launch attack UAVs,” the message states.
The coordinates of the suspected facility were also released: 53.371473, 35.802940.

According to "Atesh," increased activity had previously been recorded in this area. Additional reconnaissance revealed that permanent concrete structures are being erected there for the storage and preparation of drones for launch.
“The movement of personnel and vehicles has not stopped, and construction work continues, indicating the modernization or expansion of infrastructure,” noted “Atesh.”

Prior to this, agents of the “ATESH” partisan movement carried out two simultaneous sabotage operations on the railway section between Stary Oskol and Urazov in the Kharkiv region.
In addition, agents of the “ATESH” underground movement carried out a successful sabotage operation on a strategically important railway section connecting Bryansk with the Sumy direction.
As a reminder, "ATESH" partisans destroyed a Russian electric locomotive in Bryansk.
"ATESH" also identified a Russian camp in Mirny.
