Russia has attacked the Kharkiv region twice with new S-8000 missiles

On June 3, Russian forces fired the latest S-8000 missiles, known as "Banderole," at the Kharkiv region on two occasions.

This was reported by Petro Tokar, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.

According to him, the missile is a relatively new weapon that Russian occupiers have already used in the Kharkiv region, but such incidents remain rare even on a national scale.

“Yesterday, over the course of 24 hours, the enemy used its latest S-8000 missile, the so-called ‘Banderole,’ twice. It is a fairly new weapon. This is not the first time we have detected it in the Kharkiv region,” Tokar noted.

According to published data, the S-8000 missile is about five meters long, with a wingspan of approximately 2.2 meters and a body diameter of 30 centimeters. Its maximum speed is 620–650 km/h, its cruising speed is 520–560 km/h, and its range reaches 500 kilometers.
