Russia has attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times; there are casualties
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times, using attack drones, artillery, and guided aerial bombs. Four districts in the region came under enemy fire, resulting in casualties and extensive damage.
The Nikopol district suffered the heaviest shelling. The enemy attacked the communities of Nikopol, Marganetsk, Myrivka, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivka.
A multi-story residential building was damaged as a result of the shelling.
Russian troops also struck the Dubovykivka and Vasylkiv communities in the Synelnykivsky district.
In addition, the Troitska community in the Pavlohrad district came under attack, where private residential buildings were damaged.
Two civilians—a 63-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man—were injured as a result of the enemy shelling.
A Russian attack in Dnipro caused a fire at food warehouses. Information regarding the extent of the damage and possible additional consequences is being clarified.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
On the night of August 4, 2026, Russian troops launched strikes with guided aerial bombs on Sumy. Two children and an elderly woman were killed in the attack.
Six guided bombs struck the city’s civilian infrastructure. According to air defense forces, two more Russian bombs were shot down as they approached populated areas, Grigorov added.
Earlier, drones attacked the strategic port of Taman in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.
