Russia launched a massive attack on the southern part of the Odesa region; 13,000 people are without power

On the night of August 19–20, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the south of the Odesa region. As a result of the strikes, several towns and villages experienced power outages.

“As a result of the attack, power outages have been reported in several settlements. As of this morning, 13,000 customers remain without power. Utility workers are already working to restore service,” Kipper said.

In addition, in one of the areas targeted by the attack, two truck trailers carrying food caught fire.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the fires have been completely extinguished. Relevant services are on the ground and continue to address the aftermath of the Russian attack.

Kipper also clarified that no one was injured as a result of the strike.

This was reported by Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

On the morning of August 20, Russian troops used a drone to attack a bus carrying employees of a municipal utility company in the Korabelny district of Kherson. Three men were injured in the strike.

Over the course of August 19, Russian troops carried out 970 strikes on 57 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Six people were injured as a result of the enemy attacks.

As a reminder, Kyiv and Brovary were the main targets of the Russian Federation’s offensive.

Starting in the evening of August 19, Russian troops attacked four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times. The occupiers used drones, aerial bombs, and artillery in their strikes.

Earlier, it was reported that an accident at power facilities was recorded in the Brovary community as a result of the enemy attack.
