Video: Police released footage of the first few minutes following the nighttime attack on Kyiv
Following a massive Russian attack on Kyiv, police officers immediately rushed to the sites of the strikes. In the Solomyanskyi District, they assisted the wounded, provided first aid, and, together with rescue workers, pulled people from collapsed apartments.
During the nighttime attack, Russian forces damaged residential buildings in Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi district. The strike resulted in fatalities and injuries. Officers from the Patrol Police Tactical and Operational Response Unit arrived at the sites of the attacks within minutes of the strike. Oleksiy Biloshitsky, head of the Patrol Police Department, said that police officers Denys Trygubenko and Anton Dobrenko found three injured women.
The law enforcement officers immediately provided first aid. They applied bandages and tourniquets to stop the bleeding, and then helped transport the victims to ambulances. “The TOR officers were at the attack sites from the very first minutes. Biloshitsky expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. “My condolences to the families who lost their loved ones tonight.
