The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,390 Russian occupiers over the past day
As of August 21, 2026, Ukrainian defenders had eliminated 1,390 Russian soldiers over the past 24 hours. Total losses of the Russian army since the start of the full-scale invasion have reached approximately 1,474,030 personnel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of August 21, Russia has suffered the following losses in the war against Ukraine:
