Russia struck a facility in the Ternopil region with a drone

A Russian UAV struck the premises of a company in one of the communities in the Ternopil region, causing a fire.

This was reported by Suspilne. Ternopil.

According to the Zalishchyky City Council, the enemy attack occurred on the afternoon of April 1, and by 2:26 p.m., rescue workers had contained the fire. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident, and relevant services continue to work at the site of the strike.

Ivan Drozd, head of the Zalishchyky City Council, confirmed that residents’ private properties in the community were not damaged by the Russian strike. An air raid alert was declared in the region at 11:49 a.m. following a warning from Taras Pastukh, head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration, about the threat of enemy drones. Efforts to address the aftermath of the shelling and assess the damage to the facility are currently underway.

The region’s energy and civilian infrastructure remains under surveillance due to ongoing attacks by the Russian Federation. Residents are urged not to ignore danger signals and to remain in shelters while drones are flying overhead. The situation in the community is under control, and local authorities are coordinating with rescue units to quickly address the consequences of the enemy strike.

During a massive attack by Russian kamikaze drones on western Ukraine on April 1, explosions were heard in Bukovel.
