Russia struck a house in the Sumy region with jet-powered drones; a child was killed
On the morning of August 14, Russian troops attacked a private residential home in the Buryn community of Sumy Oblast using two jet-powered drones. A 29-year-old woman and her 9-year-old son were killed in the strike.
“Early this morning, the Russians struck a private residential home in the Buryn community with two rocket-powered drones. There is extensive damage and a fire,” Grigorov reported.
According to him, the woman and the child were killed instantly. The attack caused significant damage to the house and sparked a fire.
Four other people were injured.
Two of the injured are the father and grandmother of the deceased boy. They are in the hospital with severe burns.
Rescue and emergency services are working at the site of the Russian strike to address the aftermath of the attack.

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled 28 settlements in the Sumy region. One person was killed as a result of the enemy attacks, and five more residents were injured.
The Sumy region will be protected from FPV drones over an additional 37 km.
The Sumy region has allocated an additional 10 million hryvnias for the purchase of mobile shelters.
