Russia has lost another 1,230 soldiers and three tanks in the war against Ukraine

As of April 3, 2026, the total combat losses of Russian forces in the full-scale war against Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,301,260 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, another 1,230 invaders were eliminated.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

According to updated data, the Russian army has also suffered significant losses in equipment:

  • tanks — 11,833 (+3)
  • armored combat vehicles — 24,340 (+6)
  • artillery systems — 39,293 (+65)
  • multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) — 1,713 (+0)
  • air defense systems — 1,338 (+0)
  • aircraft — 435 (+0)
  • helicopters — 350 (+0)
  • operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) — 214,629 (+1,236)
  • cruise missiles — 4,491 (+0)
  • ships and boats — 33 (+0)
  • submarines — 2 (+0)
  • Vehicles and tankers — 86,950 (+177)
  • special equipment — 4,109 (+2)

Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked Ukrainian Defense Forces positions 127 times. The heaviest fighting is ongoing in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.

As a reminder, Ukraine has become a drone superpower, and the Russians are currently unable to counter this. Thanks to mass production and the latest UAV technologies, Ukrainian troops are gaining significant advantages on the front lines and in the Black Sea.
 

Strikes on Ust-Luga and Primorsk have cost the Kremlin over $1 billion in oil export revenue in just one week. Shipments through the Baltic Sea have fallen to their lowest level since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
