Russia has lost more than 1,000 soldiers and two air defense systems in the war against Ukraine

Total combat losses among Russian troops in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to April 29, 2026, have reached approximately 1,328,820 personnel. Over the past 24 hours alone, another 1,180 invaders were eliminated.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

According to updated data, the Russian army also suffered significant losses in equipment:

  • tanks – 11,894 (+2)
  • armored combat vehicles – 24,486 (+3)
  • artillery systems – 40,825 (+54)
  • MLRS – 1,755 (+0)
  • air defense systems – 1,356 (+2)
  • aircraft – 435 (+0)
  • helicopters – 350 (+0)
  • Tactical-level UAVs – 262,033 (+1,775)
  • cruise missiles – 4,579 (+0)
  • Ships / boats – 33 (+0)
  • submarines – 2 (+0)
  • Vehicles and tankers – 92,231 (+245)
  • Special equipment – 4,146 (+5)

The General Staff notes that these figures are subject to change.

As a reminder, in the village of Dobrye in the Graivoronsky District of the Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation, two men were injured when two guided aerial bombs struck.

In three border districts of the Belgorod region of Russia—Shebekinsky, Borisovsky, and Graivoronsky—the installation of anti-drone corridors has begun.

As a reminder, on the night of March 8, a powerful missile strike was launched against energy facilities in Belgorod and the Belgorod District.

Due to the shelling, Belgorod was left without electricity and heating.

Additionally, a gas pipeline was damaged in the Belgorod region, and schools are closed.
