Russia lost 960 soldiers in the war in Ukraine over the past 24 hours
Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine have reached approximately 1,325,650 personnel, including 960 over the past 24 hours.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
As of April 26, 2026, the Russian army has lost:

- ships and boats — 33 (+0)

The General Staff notes that these figures are approximate and continue to be refined.
Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 62 times.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi instructed the commanders of the groups and corps stationed on the front line to conduct an inspection of the organization of logistical support for the troops by May 20.
Military analysts report that Russian occupiers are advancing in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region.
