In May, Ukraine installed more than 211 km of anti-drone protection for logistics operations
In May 2026, specialists installed more than 211 kilometers of anti-drone defenses along logistics routes. In addition, nearly 38 kilometers of damaged sections and another 115.5 kilometers of roads in frontline regions were repaired.
The deployment of anti-drone defenses continues. The minister noted that the State Special Transport Service, acting on a directive from the Ministry of Defense, continues to deploy anti-drone defenses in frontline regions.
These measures help maintain stable logistics, ensure the rapid delivery of necessary resources, facilitate the evacuation of the wounded, and enable safer movement of military personnel even under the constant threat of drone attacks.
In total, since the beginning of the year, 822 km of anti-drone protection for logistics routes have been installed, and over 170 km of damaged roads have been repaired.
Over the past four months, Ukraine has significantly improved its effectiveness in shooting down Russian Shahed-type drones. According to Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, the interception rate of enemy drones has doubled thanks to the development of a “small-scale” air defense system and the expanded use of interceptor drones.
