Over the past 24 hours, Russia has attacked 28 settlements in the Sumy region

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled 28 settlements in the Sumy region. One person was killed and five other residents were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks.

“Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 39 attacks on 28 settlements in the Sumy region. The enemy used KABs, strike UAVs, FPV drones, artillery, mortars, and multiple-launch rocket systems,” the report states.

In total, the following districts came under fire from Russian troops: Sumy, Shostka, Konotop, and Okhtyrka.

In the Seredyna-Budsk community, a 63-year-old woman was killed as a result of enemy shelling, and five other people were injured—three women aged 41, 46, and 40, and two men aged 24 and 62. Private homes and apartment buildings were damaged.

In the Sumy community, an apartment building, electrical switchboards, and the infrastructure of a gas station were damaged as a result of the attacks.

In the Mykolaiv community, a residential building, a warehouse, vehicles, trailers, a ground-based robotic system, and a power line were damaged.

In the Trostyanets community, railway equipment and storage facilities were damaged.

In the Zno-Novgorod, Yampil, and Khutir-Mykhailiv communities, a residential building and civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Police investigative and operational teams are working at the sites of the strikes, documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks, and collecting evidence of war crimes.

This was reported by the National Police.

Sumy Oblast will be protected from FPV drones over an additional 37 km.

Sumy Oblast has allocated an additional 10 million hryvnias for the purchase of mobile shelters.
