However, these figures do not include casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha. Due to the occupation and the difficult situation regarding access to these cities, it is impossible to determine exact figures on civilian casualties there.
Russian troops continue to regularly attack settlements in the Donetsk region, leaving civilians under constant threat. This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
In the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District of the Odesa region, Russian drones damaged buildings at a shoe factory on the night of August 15. Following the strike, the cafeteria, boiler room, and a car caught fire, and the administrative building was also damaged. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured.
Russian forces carried out 971 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire, and two people were injured as a result of attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district. There were also 44 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Since the evening, Russian troops have attacked three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times. As a result of the strikes in Marhanets, a three-month-old boy was killed, and 11 other people were injured, including two children. During the attack, the Russians used drones, artillery, and an aerial bomb.
