Following the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, the city experienced power outages and a fire broke out
On the afternoon of August 15, the Russian terrorist army launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. The attack caused a fire, power outages in the city, and there are casualties.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukraine came under missile attack at approximately 2:37 p.m. The first enemy targets were detected in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and prior to that, monitoring channels reported that the Russians had launched at least three Tu-22M3 aircraft.
However, it should be noted that at 2:46 p.m., the Air Force also detected a “Banderole” loitering munition in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
At approximately 3:16 p.m., Oleksandr Hanzha stated that the Russians had struck Kryvyi Rih.
“A fire broke out. One man was injured. The extent of the damage is being assessed,” he wrote on Telegram.
At the same time, local media reported that the attack caused power outages and, consequently, disruptions to public transit. Later, several media outlets reported that service had been restored. The city’s Defense Council Chairman, Oleksandr Vilkul, also confirmed that power had been restored and clarified that there were already two people injured in Kryvyi Rih.
“The enemy struck our city. Two people were injured. Firefighters are on the scene. The power situation has already been stabilized,” the post stated.

As a result of a Russian drone strike, one person was killed and another was injured in the Zaporizhzhia region on August 15.
Russian forces attacked Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strike sparked a fire, damaged private homes, and left two men injured and hospitalized.
Over the past day, Russian troops attacked Kherson and dozens of settlements in the region. As a result of the strikes, 28 people were injured, including a 16-year-old boy.
