Russia has attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 60 times in the past 24 hours, resulting in casualties and destruction
Throughout Monday, March 23, 2026, Russian occupation forces attacked four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 60 times, using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, eight people were injured as a result of the shelling, including a 14-year-old girl. The highest number of casualties was recorded in the Synelnykivskyi district, where the Vasylkivska, Mezhivska, and Dubovykivska communities were hit; a child and three adults were hospitalized there, and one man is in critical condition.
In the Nikopol district, the district center, as well as the Marganetsk, Myrivsk, Chervonohryhorivsk, and Pokrovsk communities, were hit by Russian attacks. Enemy fire damaged a high school, infrastructure facilities, an agricultural firm, a business, and private homes; fires broke out at the sites of the strikes. In Kryvyi Rih, two men were injured in a morning attack; the Hrushevska community was also targeted.
The regional center—the city of Dnipro—was also shelled. As a result of Russian attacks, infrastructure damage and fires were reported in the city. Overall, over the past 24 hours, the enemy inflicted significant damage on the residential sector and civilian facilities in the region, damaging apartment buildings and private homes, stores, and vehicles. Emergency services continue to work at the impact sites to address the consequences of Russia’s terrorist acts.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked the residential sector of Zaporizhzhia: there is destruction and people have been injured.
The Russians also attacked four Ukrposhta branches; employees were injured.
In Znam’yanka, Kirovohrad Oblast, 20 residential buildings were damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack.
