Russia has launched more than 1,100 attacks on Zaporizhzhia over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, the Zaporizhzhia region has seen a sharp increase in the intensity of Russian attacks—the region has come under more than 1,100 strikes.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Over the past 24 hours, a tragic record was set—the Russians launched 1,121 strikes on 43 settlements in the region. Most of them were carried out by drones; 853 UAVs of various types were launched at our territory,” Fedorov noted.
As a result of the attacks in the Zaporizhzhia district, two men, aged 40 and 77, were wounded.
“Drones remain the most frequently used weapon—they account for 60 to 70% of all attacks. The enemy also frequently uses artillery—striking frontline settlements with up to 200 strikes per day,” added the head of the Regional Military Administration.
Russian troops carried out 25 airstrikes on Blahodatne, Zalivne, Maryanivka, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoselivka, Shyroke, Charivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, Babashy, Yegorivka, Hulyaypil, and Dobropillia.
In addition, 853 UAVs of various types (primarily FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Hryhorivka, Yasna Polyana, Chervonodniprovka, Kushchove, Kanivske, Novooleksandrivka, Maksymivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Lukyanivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Myrne, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, and Novozaporizhzhia.
Five MLRS attacks were recorded on Balabine, Lukyanivske, Novoandriivka, Novoselivka, and Verkhnia Tersia.
238 artillery strikes hit Hryhorivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Lukyanivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Myrne, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Varvarivka, and Dobropillia.
In addition, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out a large-scale attack on the Kharkiv region, using dozens of drones of various types.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked a heating facility in Chernihiv.
The Russians also attacked three settlements in the Chernihiv region with drones; a child was injured.
