Russia has changed its tactics for using kamikaze drones - Flash
Russian forces have changed their approach to using "Shahed"-type kamikaze drones. According to reports, a significant number of drones are moving along the border with Belarus, which may indicate an adjustment to attack routes.
This was reported by Serhiy “Flesha” Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense.
“This time, the ‘Shaheds’ are moving along the Belarusian border at a distance of 5–10 km, literally one after another, and in large numbers at once. The enemy is counting on overloading our air defense to allow as many targets as possible to penetrate deep into the country toward the West,” he said.
“Flash” emphasized that Ukrainian defenders are on the job. He also added that the Russians are preparing for such attacks, conducting electronic warfare reconnaissance, and studying Ukraine’s air defense positions.
“And our task is to anticipate the enemy’s moves,” the Defense Minister’s advisor emphasized.

As a reminder, the Defense Forces have begun shooting down kamikaze drones using British RapidRanger air defense systems.
In March, new RapidRanger mobile air defense systems appeared on the front lines. They are lightweight, autonomous, and capable of quickly responding to airborne threats, protecting troops and critical infrastructure.
Ukraine has received a new STRILA-2 interceptor drone, which now instantly takes to the sky and catches up with enemy Shaheds. Thanks to German technology and artificial intelligence, the drone becomes an autonomous hunter of attack drones.
