Russia destroyed the Kyiv office of the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Skyeton

The office of the Ukrainian defense company Skyeton, which specializes in the production of unmanned aerial systems, was destroyed during a combined Russian attack on the night of May 14. The company had prepared in advance for possible strikes and relocated its production facilities to various regions of Ukraine and abroad.

This was reported by DOU.ua.

The company continues to operate and supply technology to the Ukrainian Armed Forces despite the destruction of its office in the capital. Skyeton has been in business since 2006 and is known for its Raybird reconnaissance UAVs, which meet NATO standards and are highly resistant to electronic warfare.

As part of its expansion abroad, the company established a joint venture in the UK with Prevail Partners and launched drone production in Slovakia. The developer is also collaborating with Danish partners on electromagnetic surveillance systems. Currently, Skyeton’s primary focus remains on meeting the Ukrainian military’s needs for unmanned aerial systems.

As a result of the Russian attack on the Kyiv region on May 14, seven people were injured, including a three-year-old child. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the region.

On May 14, the State Emergency Service released footage of the aftermath of the nighttime Russian attack on Kyiv. In the capital, damage to residential buildings, fires, and casualties were reported; rescue workers evacuated people and worked to mitigate the effects of the strikes.
