Russia destroyed a Nova Poshta logistics center in Kyiv

As a result of Russia’s massive combined attack on Kyiv on the night of July 2, the logistics center of the company “Nova Poshta” in the Obolon district of the capital was destroyed. This is not the first time Russian forces have struck the logistics infrastructure of Ukraine’s largest private postal operator.

During the nighttime shelling of Kyiv, Russian missiles and drones damaged Nova Poshta’s logistics center in the Obolon district.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has systematically attacked the company’s civilian logistics infrastructure, striking sorting terminals, warehouses, and branches.

Throughout the full-scale war, Russian troops have repeatedly struck the company’s facilities in various regions of Ukraine.

Among the most devastating attacks:

  • October 21, 2023 — A missile struck a “Nova Poshta” terminal in the village of Korotych in the Kharkiv region. Six employees were killed, another 17 people were injured, and hundreds of metric tons of shipments were destroyed.
  • January 13, 2026 — A Russian ballistic missile almost completely destroyed an innovative logistics terminal in Kharkiv. Four employees were killed.
  • April 1, 2026 — During a massive attack, the company’s warehouse in Lutsk was destroyed. Employees were unharmed because they were in a shelter.
  • June 3–4, 2026 — Russian drones attacked the logistics center in Dnipro for two consecutive days, completely destroying Branch No. 1 and damaging other infrastructure.
  • June 15, 2026 — As a result of a missile strike on Kyiv, one of the company’s most modern sorting terminals in the Obolon district was partially destroyed. Approximately 10,000 packages were damaged at that time.
  • July 5, 2025 — A drone strike damaged Branch No. 1 in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast.
  • October 5, 2025 — Russian shelling destroyed a “Nova Poshta” branch in the Donetsk region, where 405 parcels with a total value of over 1 million UAH were burned.

The company emphasizes that after each attack, it restored operations at the facilities and compensated customers for lost shipments.

On the night of July 2, 2026, Russia carried out one of the largest combined attacks on the Ukrainian capital, using strike drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles.

According to the latest confirmed data:

  • at least 13 people were killed;
  • nearly 90 people were injured, including two children;
  • more than 20 residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
  • rescue operations are ongoing, and people may still be trapped under the rubble.

The Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, Podilskyi, and Obolonskyi districts of Kyiv suffered the most damage.
