Russian strike destroys Nova Poshta branch in Zaporizhzhia region
The company reported the consequences of the overnight attack and showed the damage.
On the night of April 9, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region. A Nova Poshta branch in the settlement of Novomykolaivka was destroyed in a drone strike.
This was reported by the company’s press service.
The company noted that none of its employees were injured, as the branch was closed at the time of the attack.
“Unfortunately, more than 150 parcels were destroyed. The company is already contacting customers whose shipments were at the branch. The preliminary compensation amount is estimated at around 300,000 hryvnias,” Nova Poshta said.
The company also reported that a mobile branch will soon be set up nearby to continue providing delivery services.
Earlier, Nova Poshta dismissed an employee for mocking customers for speaking Ukrainian.
The company’s co-owner also expressed support for gas station operators amid rising fuel prices.
Fuel prices at gas stations have increased, with gasoline and diesel rising by nearly 0.25 hryvnias.
It was also reported that excise taxes on fuel in Ukraine will increase starting January 1, 2026.
On Wednesday, December 3, the average price of A-95 gasoline fell by 0.15 hryvnias to 58.37 UAH per liter, while diesel decreased by 0.05 hryvnias to 58.38 UAH per liter.
Meanwhile, global oil prices have started to rise after falling to a monthly low.
