Rosaviatsiya "reassured" airlines that Zelenskyy's statements about closing the airspace are illegal
Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) issued a NOTAM stating that all documents published by Ukraine regarding flight hazards in Russian airspace have no legal force.
The Russian agency accused Ukraine of violating the Convention on International Civil Aviation and stated that Russia’s aviation infrastructure continues to operate as scheduled, and flights by foreign airlines are arriving and departing as usual.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned airlines, insurers, and other companies that use Russian airspace about the increasing danger of flying over Russia. According to him, due to the war and the activity of Ukrainian drones, Russian airspace will effectively become unsuitable for safe civilian flights.
Earlier, Budanov confirmed Zelenskyy’s plans to close Russian airspace.
On September 2, Moscow airports recorded a sharp increase in the number of canceled flights by foreign airlines. In total, carriers canceled 27 flights to and from Moscow, significantly exceeding the previous day’s figures.
