Russia launched a drone attack on Chernihiv; there are casualties and damaged vehicles
On the morning of June 5, Russian forces attacked Chernihiv with strike drones. At least six people were injured in the enemy strikes, and dozens of vehicles were damaged.
One of the enemy drones struck a business in the northern part of the city.
“An enemy UAV strike on one of the businesses in the northern part of the city has been recorded,” Bryzhynsky reported.
In addition, another Shahed-type drone struck a parking lot, causing a fire.
According to preliminary data, six people were injured as a result of the attack on the facility. All the victims were hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical care.
At least 37 cars were also damaged by the strike on the parking lot.
Rescue workers and emergency services are on the scene, dealing with the aftermath of the attack and assessing the extent of the damage.
Russian strikes on Chernihiv’s civilian infrastructure have once again resulted in injuries to civilians and significant material damage.

In the Kherson region, Russian troops attacked vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society with a drone. An employee of the humanitarian organization was injured in the strike. The circumstances of the incident and the extent of the damage are being determined. This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In the Odesa region, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged by a drone attack.
In the Kyiv region, efforts are underway to extinguish a large-scale fire at an industrial facility that broke out as a result of a nighttime attack by Russian drones. Units of the State Emergency Service are involved in the firefighting, and cleanup operations are ongoing.
On the night of June 4, Russian forces carried out a massive air attack using a ballistic missile and 293 drones of various types. Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed or intercepted 264 aerial targets.
