Russia attacked Naftogaz gas facilities in the Chernihiv region
On the morning of May 19, Russian occupiers launched strikes on several gas infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region, damaging critical equipment.
This was reported by Naftogaz on Telegram.
The company noted that this marks the third consecutive day of attacks on Naftogaz facilities by Russian forces.
According to the company, drone strikes on production facilities have caused damage to critical equipment.
“Personnel at one of the attacked facilities were evacuated in time. There are no casualties,” the statement said.
Specialized services are currently on site assessing the extent of the damage and the consequences of the attack.
As noted, the previous evening, on May 18, Russian forces also launched three ballistic missiles at Naftogaz facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing significant damage.
In addition, earlier, several Russian drones attacked the company’s critical infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including an Ukrnafta gas station.
As a result of the strike, the gas station was completely destroyed, and two female employees were injured.
Russia also launched a ballistic missile strike on Naftogaz Group facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in damage.
The supervisory board of Gazmeret-Naftogaz has been formed.
