Russia attacked infrastructure in Lviv region
On the morning of Tuesday, 27 January, Russian forces struck an infrastructure facility in Lviv region.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Lviv regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
“The enemy attacked an infrastructure facility in Lviv region. All relevant services are working at the site,” he wrote.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries; however, the data are still being clarified and may be updated.
Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the movement of attack drones towards Lviv region and Lutsk. In addition, residents of Brody in Lviv region reported hearing explosions during the declared air raid alert.
The day before, Russian forces carried out another missile strike on critical infrastructure in Kharkiv region, causing large-scale emergency power outages in a number of settlements.
On the evening of 26 January 2026, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv and settlements in the region with ballistic missiles, leading to widespread power cuts and the destruction of civilian facilities.
In Kharkiv, the number of people injured as a result of the massive overnight drone attack on 24 January rose to 27.
During the daytime on 19 January, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs.
