Russian Strike on an Amusement Park in the Odesa Region: One Teenager Killed, 12 People Wounded

A 16-year-old boy was killed as a result of a Russian missile strike on an amusement park in the Odesa region. Twelve other people were injured, according to the regional military administration.

 

Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, released the updated information on Telegram.

“As of now, unfortunately, the death of a 16-year-old boy has been confirmed. I extend my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. Another 12 people were injured, including a 2-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl,” Kipper said.

According to him, ten of the injured remain in the hospital, and doctors assess the condition of four of them as serious. The child has been diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

Search and rescue operations have been completed. Cleanup efforts are ongoing at the site of the strike, and law enforcement officials are documenting yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation against the civilian population.

“This strike on a recreational area where civilians and children were present once again demonstrates the true nature of Russian terror,” the head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized.

On the night of July 19, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of the attack. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the capital.

Throughout the day on July 17, Russian troops launched strikes on Kharkiv and 29 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two people were killed and 18 others were injured as a result of the shelling; among the victims were five children.

Throughout the day on July 17, the Chernihiv region came under attack from enemy drones. Fires broke out in several districts at once but have already been extinguished by Ukrainian rescue workers.
