Ukraine's air defense forces shot down 121 of the 147 drones used by Russian forces to attack the country on the night of March 25.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
According to the military, the attack began at 7:00 p.m. on March 24. The enemy used Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas strike UAVs, as well as other types of drones. The launches were carried out from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 80 of them were Shaheds.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.
As of 08:30, the destruction or neutralization of 121 enemy drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine has been confirmed.
At the same time, 24 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 18 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at three additional locations.
The attack is ongoing—enemy drones remain in the airspace. Citizens are urged not to ignore air raid sirens and to follow safety guidelines.
