Russia attacked Ukraine with drones; air defense forces shot down 409 targets
On the night of September 12–13, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 453 strike drones of various types. Air defense forces shot down 409 enemy targets.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, Russian forces deployed 453 drones in the attack.
Among them were Shahed-type attack UAVs, including jet-powered variants; “Gerbera” drones; “Parody” decoy drones; and S8000 “Banderole” drones.
The drones were launched from the directions of Orel, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation, the temporarily occupied city of Gvardeysk in Crimea, and from the waters of the Sea of Azov.
The air attack was repelled by combat aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 13, Ukrainian air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 405 unmanned aerial vehicles and four S8000 “Banderole” drones.
Thus, a total of 409 out of 453 aerial targets used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine were neutralized.
At the same time, missile and attack UAV strikes were recorded at 13 locations.
In addition, downed enemy targets and their debris were found at seven locations.

On September 12, a Russian drone attacked a branch of a logistics company in the Odesa region. Two people were injured as a result of the strike.
As a reminder, part of the Rivne region was left without electricity due to Russian shelling.
The Russians also struck a passenger train at the Lutsk train station.
Overnight, the Russians fired Kalibr missiles at a high-rise building in Odesa.
