Russia has direct flights to 37 countries around the world
As of fall 2026, Russia has direct, nonstop flights to 37 countries around the world. Five more destinations may be added to this list in the near future.
Currently, direct flights from Russia are available, in particular, to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Iran, Iraq, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and other countries.
In total, the list includes 37 destinations, among which are also Afghanistan, Algeria, Vietnam, Georgia, Indonesia, North Korea, the Maldives, Morocco, Mongolia, Oman, the Seychelles, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Turkmenistan.
At the same time, Russia plans to launch direct flights to Kuwait, Pakistan, Algeria, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka as well. Specifically, the new routes are scheduled to launch in September–November.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned airlines and insurers about the increasing danger of flying in Russian airspace due to the activity of Ukrainian drones.
