Over the past 24 hours, on July 16, Russian troops launched attacks on Kharkiv and 23 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the enemy shelling, one person was killed and 14 others were wounded.
The occupiers continue to attack the region’s civilian infrastructure. Emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes to address the aftermath of the shelling and assist the victims.
In the village of Vysokyi, a 35-year-old man was killed, and a 64-year-old woman, a 34-year-old woman, and men aged 36, 39, and 35 were injured.
In the village of Zolochiv, a 71-year-old woman, a 64-year-old woman, a 69-year-old man, and a 65-year-old man were injured.
In Bohodukhiv, three young men aged 21, 18, and 19 were injured.
In Kharkiv, a 50-year-old man was injured.
In the village of Vyshneve, in the Starosaltivska community, a 74-year-old woman was injured.
Medical personnel also provided assistance to a 29-year-old woman who was injured in Izyum on July 14, and to a 32-year-old man who was injured on July 12 as a result of a Russian strike on the village of Zakharivka in the Vovchanska community.
Russian forces attacked the Kyiv, Industrial, and Kholodnohirsk districts of Kharkiv with drones.
The enemy also attacked the Kharkiv region with one missile, three “Geran-2” UAVs, 15 “Molniya” UAVs, nine FPV drones, and 27 unmanned aerial vehicles, the type of which is still being determined.
In Kharkiv, a garage and a car were damaged.
In the Bohodukhiv district, two stores, five private homes, an emergency medical vehicle, a car, a postal kiosk (Zolochiv), power lines, a gas station, a tire repair shop, a civilian enterprise warehouse, a bus, a store (Bohodukhiv), 2 cars (the villages of Koziivka and Maksymivka), a private home (the village of Zaryabinka), 2 private homes, and 2 outbuildings (the village of Odnorobivka).
In the Kupiansk district, a private home and a car (Prykolotne), power lines (Hetmanivka village), a gas station (Ogurtsivka village), and outbuildings (Nova Oleksandrivka village) were damaged.
In the Kharkiv District, a gas station, a bus (in Vysokyi), and a private home (in the village of Leshchenky) were damaged.
In the Chuhuiv District, an educational facility (Gontarivka village), a private home, and two farm buildings (Bugaivka village) were damaged, as well as a grain storage facility; wheat fields were on fire (Velyka Babka and Heivka villages).
In the Berestynsky District, a private home (village of Krutoyarivka) was damaged, and a rye field (village of Paraskovia) caught fire.
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 175 people over the past 24 hours. A total of 46,128 people have been registered at the center since it began operations.
