Russia blocked the entrance to the military ship anchorage in Novorossiysk after an SBU strike
Russian military forces have blocked the entrance to the anchorage of combat ships in the port of Novorossiysk following a nighttime strike by Ukrainian forces.
This is evidenced by a satellite image, according to the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”.
According to sources, barges and auxiliary vessels were moved to the entrance of the harbor area to create an additional obstacle for naval drones.

Satellite imagery and videos from open sources show that access to the piers with military ships has effectively been blocked. Such actions indicate heightened panic within the Russian command regarding further attacks.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a strike on Russian infrastructure in the Novorossiysk area using maritime drones. As a result of the attack, facilities used by Russia to support the operations of the Black Sea Fleet were hit.
Novorossiysk became one of the key ports for Russian warships after Ukrainian strikes forced the occupiers to withdraw part of their forces from Sevastopol. Now, this base itself is turning into a zone of constant risk for Russian military forces.
After the strike by Ukrainian forces, the Russians began urgently changing the port’s protection scheme. The occupiers reinforced mine barriers and also deployed additional surveillance assets at the entrance to the bay.
Media reports have indicated that some combat ships were temporarily relocated to other basing points. These steps suggest that the Russian command no longer considers Novorossiysk a safe rear port.
