Russia has attacked Zaporizhzhia once again: there are casualties
An explosion occurred in Zaporizhzhia on Tuesday, May 26, as a result of a Russian attack. The regional military administration reported that the enemy had struck the city. According to preliminary reports, three people were injured; details regarding the consequences are still being confirmed.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, wrote about this on Telegram.
“At least two people have been injured, and cars are on fire—these are the preliminary consequences of the enemy’s attack on Zaporizhzhia,” Fedorov noted.
“Already three wounded—the number of casualties from the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia is rising,” he wrote later.
It is reported that a non-residential building was damaged by the blast wave and debris. Cars parked nearby were also damaged, and some of them caught fire.
Rescue workers have already extinguished the fires. Other consequences of the enemy attack are being assessed.
He also clarified that the air raid alert has been in effect for over two hours.
The Air Force warned of the threat of UAV strikes and high-speed missiles.
