Russia struck an energy facility in the Poltava region, leaving some people without power
On the night of June 18, Russian occupation forces launched strikes against civilian and critical infrastructure in two districts of the Poltava region.
As a result of the enemy attack, hits were recorded on an energy infrastructure facility, a residential building, and industrial enterprises, leading to power outages and one person being injured.
The most damage was recorded in the Poltava district, where enemy drones attacked industrial and private enterprises.
As a result of these strikes, an administrative building and critical technological equipment at production facilities sustained significant damage.
One civilian was injured during the enemy raid—the person sustained injuries and was promptly hospitalized.
In addition to the industrial sector, Russian UAVs struck a private residential building and an energy infrastructure facility in the same region.
A direct hit on a critical facility of the fuel and energy complex in the area caused a large-scale emergency power outage.
Currently, specialized repair crews from Poltavaoblenergo JSC are working around the clock to quickly restore a stable power supply to all categories of consumers.
