Over the past 24 hours, 264 combat engagements took place on the front lines. The Russian army continues its massive attacks, but Ukrainian defenders are holding back the advance and inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.
Over the past day, Ukrainian defense forces struck 17 areas where Russian troops were concentrated, as well as a drone control center and a command-and-observation post. At the same time, the enemy continues to launch missile, air, and drone strikes against Ukraine.
Russian troops continue offensive operations across various sections of the front. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 264 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. Ukrainian troops are holding their positions, repelling assaults, and inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.
According to updated information, over the past day, the Russian army carried out two missile strikes, firing nine missiles. In addition, the occupiers carried out 96 airstrikes, during which they dropped 317 guided bombs. The enemy also actively used attack drones. Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops deployed 8,884 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,028 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas. Of these, 50 strikes were carried out using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Despite the high pace of attacks, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy. Fierce battles are ongoing on many fronts, and attempts by Russian troops to advance are meeting with strong resistance. At the same time, the Defense Forces are actively targeting the enemy’s military objectives. Over the past day, Ukraine’s air force, missile forces, and artillery struck 17 areas where the occupiers’ troops were concentrated.
In addition, the Ukrainian military struck an enemy drone control center and a command-and-observation post. Such strikes help reduce the Russian army’s ability to coordinate assaults and deploy attack drones. The General Staff emphasizes that Ukrainian units continue to hold their defenses and inflict significant losses on the enemy. The defense forces continue to thwart the Russian army’s plans and prevent the occupiers from achieving their objectives.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors
Over the past day, our defenders repelled an enemy assault. At the same time, the aggressor carried out an airstrike using three guided bombs and fired 77 rounds at the positions of our troops and populated areas, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector
Ukrainian units repelled eleven enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance in the areas of Starytsia and Lyman, as well as toward Izbytske, Volokhivka, and Okhrimivka.
In the Kupiansk sector
The enemy launched three attacks toward Kupiansk, Podoliv, and Kurylivka.
In the Lyman sector
Attempts to breach our defenses were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers launched twenty attacks in the areas of Lyman, Stavky, Dibrova, and Ozerny, as well as toward Olgivka, Novyi Mir, Novomykhailivka, Yampil, Shyikivka, Novoselivka, and Drobysheve.
In the Sloviansk direction
the enemy carried out twenty assault operations in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka, as well as toward Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector
The occupiers launched five attacks toward Yurkivka, Dibrova, Tykhonivka, and Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector
Eighteen attacks were recorded. The occupiers carried out assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka and Illinivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction
The highest number of assaults was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where our defenders repelled 32 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas of Novooleksandrivka and Bilytske, and also carried out assaults in the directions of Shakove, Toretsk, Novoye Shakove, Novopavlivka, Kuchero-Yar, Vilne, Mirne, Vasylivka, Shevchenko, Novyi Donbas, Pavlivka, Kotlyne, Novohryshyne, and Udachne.
In the Oleksandrivka sector
the enemy did not conduct any assault operations.
In the Huliaipole sector
the occupiers attacked 15 times. The enemy attempted to advance in the directions of Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvizhivka, Krynychne, Ternuvate, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector
Our defenders repelled three enemy attempts to advance toward Shcherbakiv and Lukyanivskyi.

On the night of July 26, Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using ballistic missiles, a guided air-to-ground missile, and attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed one X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile, five of seven “Iskander-M”/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 104 enemy drones.
