On the night of July 25–26, Ukrainian reconnaissance forces struck a Russian S-400 “Triumph” anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The operation resulted in the destruction of the system’s launcher and radar station.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), the operation was carried out by specialists from the Department of Unmanned Systems. On the night of July 25–26, they tracked down the Russian S-400 “Triumph” anti-aircraft missile system and delivered a precision strike against it.

As a result of the attack, the launcher and the 96L6 radar station, which were part of the system, were completely destroyed.

The Main Intelligence Directorate also released a video which, according to them, captures the moment the Russian equipment was destroyed.

The agency emphasized that operations to destroy military facilities belonging to the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are ongoing.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As a reminder, on the night of July 27, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine, deploying 147 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized 123 enemy targets, though some strike drones were confirmed to have hit their targets.

Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,590 Russian soldiers. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated data on Russian military losses in the war against Ukraine as of July 27, 2026.
