Russia struck a facility in the Zhytomyr region that had already been destroyed—for the second time

On September 18, Russian troops launched another attack on a facility in the Zhytomyr community. According to Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, the Russians had already destroyed this facility during an attack about a month ago. This time, there are no reports of fatalities or injuries.

On Friday, September 18, Russian troops once again struck a facility in the Zhytomyr community. This facility had already been targeted by a Russian attack about a month ago. Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, reported the second strike. “Russia launched a second strike on a facility in the Zhytomyr community that had been destroyed a month ago. There were no casualties or injuries,” he wrote.

According to Bunechko, rescue workers are on the scene following the latest strike. They are clearing up the aftermath of the Russian attack and carrying out necessary work on the factory grounds. There is currently no information about any fatalities or injuries resulting from the strike.

The head of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration specifically noted that Russian troops had once again attacked a facility that had already been destroyed in a previous strike. “Enemy strikes on civilian enterprises—especially those that have already been destroyed—make no sense whatsoever, just like everything else the enemy is doing in this war against Ukrainians,” Bunechko noted.

Rescue workers are currently continuing their efforts at the scene. Information regarding the consequences of the attack may still be subject to change. Regional authorities are urging residents not to ignore air raid sirens and to take shelter during attacks.

Throughout the day, Russian invaders attacked five districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 40 times, using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs. As a result of the enemy strikes, three people were killed and five others were wounded.

On the morning of September 17, Russian troops struck the “Epicenter” shopping center in Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, the building sustained significant damage and caught fire.

The enemy attacked a passenger bus in the Kosmichny district of Zaporizhzhia using an FPV drone. At the time of the attack, there were people inside the bus who were traveling on their daily errands.
