Russia attacked the Darnitsa plant for the second time in a few days
On the morning of September 26, Russian troops once again struck the plant of the pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa.” According to preliminary reports, no one was injured as a result of the attack.
Darnitsa urged citizens to maintain a media blackout and refrain from posting photos and videos from the site of the strike. Company representatives also asked people not to disclose the exact location of the facility or details about the consequences of the attack.
The company emphasized that sharing such information could help Russian forces assess the results of the strike.
A previous attack on the facility occurred on September 23. At that time, Kateryna Zagoriy, a member of the Strategic Council of the pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa” and co-founder of the Zagoriy Foundation, stated that the company would continue producing medicines, although delays in production schedules might occur due to the damage.
According to Kateryna Zagoriy, resuming pharmaceutical production is not limited to simply repairing damaged facilities and equipment. She explained that the company’s stable operations are underpinned by production processes developed over many years, the expertise of its employees, and a network of suppliers and partners.
Zagoriy also emphasized that a blow to large-scale production affects more than just the pharmaceutical company itself. Other Ukrainian enterprises that manufacture packaging, transport products, maintain equipment, and supply necessary materials are also feeling the consequences.
At the same time, Kateryna Zagoriy assured that “Darnitsa” has no plans to halt operations and will continue to restore and expand production.
On September 3, Russian troops completely destroyed the “Apteka Dobrogo Dnya” pharmaceutical warehouse. As a result of the attack, hundreds of metric tons of medicines intended for patients in various regions of Ukraine were lost.
Thus, Ukraine’s pharmaceutical infrastructure has repeatedly been targeted by Russian attacks, creating additional risks for the production, storage, and supply of medicines.

In Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi district, a drone crash caused a fire in an office building. In the Obolonskyi district, a UAV crashed into a non-residential building, injuring one person.
As of 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, five civilians were injured in Kyiv as a result of the enemy attack.
In the Sumy region, one person was killed as a result of Russian attacks, and another 13 civilians were wounded or injured. Among the victims were a one-and-a-half-month-old infant and several children.
As a result of a Russian attack on the night of September 25–26, the “Auchan Bilychi” store, located in the Lavina Mall in Kyiv, was damaged.

In the Kyiv region, two people were injured on the night of September 26 as a result of Russian attacks. Rescue workers were called in several times to deal with the aftermath of the Russian aggression.
On the night of September 26, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia. The strike destroyed a private home, sparked fires, killed two women, and injured two people, including a child.
On the evening of September 25, a Russian drone struck Sumy. A 14-year-old girl was injured in the attack; she was on the street near the site of the strike at the time of the explosion. The child was hospitalized; doctors describe her condition as serious but stable.
As a reminder, over the past day, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties. Additionally, one tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were destroyed.
Occupied Donetsk and a significant portion of the region’s territory temporarily seized by Russian terrorists were left without power on September 18.
On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.
