Russia launched more than 300 drones at Ukraine in 12 hours
On the afternoon of September 13, Russian troops carried out one of their largest drone attacks. Between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. alone, the enemy deployed 323 attack drones.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 14 of the drones launched were jet-powered. During this time, Ukrainian air defenses shot down 310 drones, nine of which were jet-powered.
At the same time, 10 enemy attack drones were confirmed to have struck their targets. Several more drones remained in Ukrainian airspace at the time of this report.
In addition, Russia deployed approximately 10 “Banderole/Dan-T” loitering munitions. Details regarding their use and consequences are being clarified.
The Air Force noted that as of 6:00 p.m., several attack drones were still in the skies over Ukraine.
