Russia carried out 57 attacks along the front line, with the heaviest fighting occurring in three sectors
Since the start of the day, Russian occupation forces have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 57 times. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk sectors.
In addition to combat clashes along the front line, the invaders continue to shell Ukraine’s border regions with artillery. In the Sumy region, more than ten settlements came under enemy fire, including Potapivka, Tovstodubove, Korenok, Sopych, Fotovizh, Rohizne, Hirky, Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Volfyne, Topolia, and Brusky.
Ukrainian defenders are holding back the occupiers’ advance and repelling attempts to penetrate deeper into the territory.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 37 attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions, including two attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the invaders made four attempts to break through the defenses toward the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Petro-Ivanivka, Aniskine, and Ivashkine. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, one enemy attack toward Bohuslavka is ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance toward Drobysheve, Ozernoye, and the Novoselivka area. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakytne, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. One firefight is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, our troops repelled one enemy attack in the direction of Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, our defenders repelled 13 attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and toward Stepanivka, Toretsk, Vilne, and Novyi Shakhovyi. Four firefights are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted 15 times to dislodge our troops from their positions in the areas around the settlements of Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and Molodetske, as well as toward the settlements of Shevchenko, Novyi Donbas, and Serhiivka. One firefight is still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks toward the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In other sectors, there are currently no significant changes in the situation. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.
