Russia has changed its tactics at the border; the activity of sabotage groups has decreased

No activity by sabotage and reconnaissance groups has been detected along the border with Russia, but the enemy has shifted to new tactics.

This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service.

According to him, the activity of sabotage and reconnaissance groups has significantly decreased compared to previous periods.

Instead, Russian troops are operating in small assault groups, attempting to identify weaknesses in the defense.

Such activity has been observed, in particular, in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

The occupiers are seeking to expand their zone of control along the state border.

At the same time, no movement of equipment or buildup of forces is currently being observed on the border with Belarus.

Despite this, this sector remains a potential threat.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated Russian occupier Volodymyr Barachevsky.

The day before, Ukrainian defenders eliminated Russian occupier Mykola Nikolaev, a former professional athlete from Togliatti.

Total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to March 21, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,286,940 personnel. Over the past day, another 1,240 occupiers were eliminated.
