Russia destroyed a warehouse belonging to the ice cream manufacturer Rud in Zhytomyr
As a result of the Russian strike on September 25 in Zhytomyr, the cold storage facility and administrative and support buildings of the ice cream manufacturer “Rud” were completely destroyed. The total area of the destroyed facilities is 4,350 square meters.
According to her, Russian troops attacked the company’s facilities on the southeastern outskirts of Zhytomyr using a drone.
At the time of the strike, the destroyed warehouse contained finished products, loading equipment, and other company property.
The company is currently assessing the consequences of the attack. The final amount of damage caused by the Russian strike is still being determined.
Rud is the largest ice cream manufacturer in Ukraine and one of the leaders in the national frozen food market. These figures are provided by the Department of Agro-Industrial Development and Economic Policy of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.
According to the company’s own data, “Rud” holds approximately 30% of the Ukrainian ice cream market.
The company’s products are available at more than 75,000 retail outlets across Ukraine. In addition, “Rud” is the largest domestic exporter of ice cream.
The manufacturer’s Ukrainian ice cream is also sold abroad—Rud products can be found in at least 36 countries worldwide.
At the same time, the company’s product range is not limited to ice cream. The company also produces frozen vegetables, berries, dough, baked goods, dairy products, and prepared foods.
Thus, the Russian attack led to the complete destruction of a significant portion of the facilities of one of Ukraine’s largest ice cream manufacturers, and the company continues to determine the exact amount of damage incurred.

On the morning of September 26, Russian forces again struck the plant of the pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa.” According to preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of the attack.

As a result of a Russian attack on the night of September 25–26, the “Auchan Bilychi” store, located in the Lavina Mall shopping center in Kyiv, was damaged.

In the Kyiv region, two people were injured as a result of Russian attacks on the night of September 26. Rescue workers were called upon several times to address the consequences of the Russian aggression.

On the evening of September 25, a Russian drone struck Sumy. A 14-year-old girl was injured in the attack; she was on the street near the impact site at the time of the explosion. The child was hospitalized; doctors describe her condition as serious but stable.
As a reminder, over the past day, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties. In addition, one tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were destroyed.
