Russian forces attacked 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched a large-scale attack on the Kharkiv region, using dozens of drones of various types.
This was reported by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
Eighteen settlements in the region came under enemy fire, resulting in civilian casualties and significant damage to infrastructure.
New cases of injuries were recorded as a result of nighttime and daytime shelling.
In the village of Velykyi Burluk, a 46-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction after another explosion, and in the village of Vyshnevka in the Kindrashivska community, a 50-year-old woman was injured.
In addition, doctors continue to provide care to people who were injured earlier.
Specifically, a 65-year-old woman from Kurylivka, who was injured by an unknown explosive device, and a 58-year-old resident of the village of Kolodyazne, who was injured during previous shelling, were hospitalized.
“Medical personnel provided assistance to a 65-year-old woman who was injured on March 29 as a result of an explosion caused by an unknown device... and to a 58-year-old man,” said Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Regional State Administration.
Russian invaders deployed a veritable arsenal of unmanned aerial vehicles against the civilian population. According to the regional administration, the use of four “Geran-2” UAVs, one “Lancet,” and nine “Molniya”-type drones was recorded.
The region was also attacked by four FPV drones and another 29 unmanned aerial vehicles, the types of which are currently being identified by experts.
Such intensive use of UAVs indicates the enemy’s attempt to exhaust the air defense system and inflict maximum damage on civilian facilities.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked a heating facility in Chernihiv.
The Russians also attacked three settlements in the Chernihiv region with drones; a child was injured.
