Russians launched a drone attack on a postal terminal in a suburb of Kharkiv

On the morning of August 2, Russian troops launched a drone attack on the suburbs of Kharkiv. One of the drones struck a postal terminal, causing a fire.

“As a result of the enemy strike on the suburbs of Kharkiv, trucks, containers, and equipment at the postal terminal caught fire,” said Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

According to local social media posts, the terminal belonging to the company “Nova Poshta” may have been hit. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.

Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured in the attack. Cleanup efforts are underway at the site.

As a reminder, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv and 19 settlements in the region over the past 24 hours. Ten people were injured in the attacks, including three minors.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 954 strikes on 54 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and another was wounded as a result of the shelling.

On the night of August 2, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 133 strike and decoy drones of various types. Air defense forces shot down 109 enemy drones, but strikes were recorded at 19 locations.
