The Russians are disguising mines as children's items to harm civilians
In the Kostiantynivka area, Russian troops are actively using remote-controlled mines and disguising explosive devices as items that appear attractive to civilians. In this way, the occupiers are attempting to increase the number of civilian casualties.
Police Major Serhiy Bohdan, commander of the pre-medical aid company of the “Predator” Brigade of the Patrol Police Department, spoke about this during a live stream on Army TV.
“They’re laying mines in a very underhanded way: they disguise them as children’s items or come up with all sorts of tricks so you can’t tell they’re mines.
And ordinary people who see them might approach, pick them up, and get blown up. Soldiers already know not to touch anything, but civilians might still pick them up and get blown up,” noted Serhiy Bohdan.
As a reminder, Russia attacked Silpo’s distribution centers, resulting in fatalities.
As a result of Russia’s nighttime missile attack on the night of August 5, production and logistics facilities belonging to the company “Epicenter” sustained significant damage. One employee was killed, and three others were injured.
As a result of a Russian drone attack on August 4 in Dnipro, a warehouse belonging to the company “Biosfera”—which was part of a 20,000-square-meter warehouse complex—was completely destroyed.
