The Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated Russian occupier Berik Dautov, who had previously fought as part of the Wagner Group and held the title of Master of Sports in Greco-Roman wrestling. According to available information, he was killed on July 23, 2026, during combat operations in the Donetsk region.
Dautov participated in the war against Ukraine on the side of the Russian occupation forces. His death was reported by Russian sources linked to military and sports circles.
Berik Dautov was born on March 18, 1990. He was a multiple medalist at All-Russian Greco-Roman wrestling tournaments and a silver medalist at the Festival of National Wrestling Styles in Moscow (kuresh wrestling). He held the title of Master of Sports of Russia in Greco-Roman wrestling.
Dautov signed a contract with the Wagner Group, as part of which he served in Africa. In mid-April 2026, he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and joined Russia’s criminal war against Ukraine.
On July 23, 2026, Dautov was killed by the Defense Forces in the Donetsk region. A farewell ceremony for the eliminated occupier took place today, August 6.
