Russians shelled Donetsk region: casualties and destroyed homes reported
Over the past day, Russian forces shelled the Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, and Bakhmut districts of Donetsk region. As a result of enemy attacks, there are injuries and fatalities.
The operational situation as of the morning of December 18 was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
Numerous houses were damaged in Kuchereve Yar of the Shakhtarsk community.
In Druzhkivka, 2 people were killed and 4 others were injured. An administrative building, a private house, and 12 vehicles were damaged. In Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, a private house was damaged. In Kostiantynivka, one person was killed and a vehicle was damaged.
In Siversk, 2 houses were damaged.
In total, Russian forces shelled settlements in Donetsk region 18 times over the course of the day. 158 people were evacuated from the front line, including 18 children.
In addition, Russian forces struck energy infrastructure in Odesa region. As a result of the shelling, the Artsyz community was left without electricity, and the substation was almost completely destroyed.
It is recalled that Russians also attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with FPV drones and artillery.
Russian forces carried out another missile strike on Zaporizhzhia.
