Gas infrastructure in Konotop has been damaged by a Russian attack

On the morning of June 11, Russian troops attacked infrastructure facilities in Konotop, Sumy Oblast. As a result of the strike, part of the city was temporarily left without gas service. Emergency services are on the scene, and efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are underway.

 

This was reported by Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin.

"...there was a strike on the city’s transport infrastructure...," the statement reads.

Prior to this, he noted on Telegram: “Strike at 7:01 a.m. – an attack on the city’s infrastructure. Part of the city is without gas supply, and there is damage to residential buildings.”
