Russians attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 40 times in a single day; there are casualties and injuries

On Sunday, August 2, Russia attacked two districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 40 times using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs.

In the Synelnykivskyi District, the enemy struck the Vasylkivska, Shakhtarska, Pokrovska, and Raivska communities, damaging a private home and causing fires. Two people were killed as a result of the attacks.

In the Nikopol district, the communities of Nikopol, Pokrovska, Marganetska, and Tomakivska came under fire, where businesses, stores, an apartment building, and vehicles sustained damage. Three people were injured: a 60-year-old woman was hospitalized in moderate condition, and two others will receive outpatient treatment for their injuries.

On August 2, Russian forces launched two guided airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. Two people were killed, 11 were injured, and damage was caused to both single-family homes and high-rise buildings.

On Sunday, August 2, Russian forces carried out two strikes on a civilian infrastructure facility—the “Nova Poshta” postal terminal in the Kharkiv region.
