Russians struck a residential area in Sumy; one person was injured
On the afternoon of September 8, Russian forces struck a residential area in central Sumy. One man was injured in the attack.
A fire broke out at the scene, which could have spread to a neighboring private home. While surveying the area, rescue workers found an injured man in one of the houses.
The victim was transported to an ambulance using a special stretcher.
Rescue workers extinguished all sources of the fire.

On September 8, Russian troops struck the Kyiv–Sumy train with two “Shahed” missiles. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members had been evacuated following a warning from the “Ukrzaliznytsia” monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region as a result of the Russian attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
