Russians attacked an ambulance for the third time today: a medical worker was killed in the Donetsk region
On September 11, in Yasnogorka, Donetsk Oblast, a Russian drone attacked an emergency medical vehicle. One medical worker was killed, and two others were injured.
According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the strike occurred at noon. He specified that a Russian “Lancet” drone struck the ambulance as it was traveling through the city.
This is already the third known attack by Russian drones on ambulances in Ukraine on September 11. Earlier that day in Kherson, three medical workers were injured when an ambulance was struck, and in Kyiv, an enemy drone damaged an emergency vehicle that was responding to a call.
Filashkin emphasized that medical workers in the Donetsk region regularly work under fire, evacuating the wounded and saving lives, but now Russian troops are deliberately targeting them as well.
